Pools built in our home town
A&B Pools is based on Williams Drive in Georgetown. We design and build new gunite pools and spas here, and we remodel and replaster older ones. We have completed a good number of pool projects around town.
Georgetown sits on the Balcones fault line, so the ground changes from one side of town to the other. West of I-35, out toward Lake Georgetown, most yards have a thin layer of soil over hard limestone, and digging a pool is mostly rock work. East of I-35 the limestone gives way to the deep black clay of the Blackland Prairie, which swells when it is wet and shrinks when it dries.
Either kind of ground makes a good pool when the pool is planned for it. That is why we look at your lot before we give you a price.
