Where the Hill Country meets the prairie
New Braunfels sits on the Balcones Escarpment, the line where the Hill Country ends. The same fault brings Comal Springs to the surface in the middle of town.
North and west of town, toward Canyon Lake, the ground is limestone with little soil, and many lots slope. South and east the land flattens into prairie clay. The two need different digging, different drainage and a different deck, so the pool is planned around the lot from the first visit.
We have completed pool projects in New Braunfels. We design and build new pools and spas there and remodel existing ones. We are based in Georgetown and work along I-35 from San Antonio to Belton.
